Outstanding ! Fran and Chuck did an amazing job. They painted everything from the ceiling to the baseboards, from the front door, to the living room, through to the kitchen door, which included 3 hallways. Fran suggested Antique White for the walls. Our first thought was ; we don't want white walls. Knowing there are lots of shades of white, we took a look a Housser's paint store, that's where Fran gets her paint. Turned out to be a beautiful colour. Needless to say we love it. Fran has great suggestions on colours. We trust her judgement completely. They arrived when they said they would. Cleaned up everything before they left. They worked together so well. I give high ratings to Fran and Chuck and the team. They were punctual, professional, neat and tidy fixing even the smallest of wall marks. Arriving on time in the morning and working through til days end going above and beyond and a neat tidy finish at the end of every day. Fran was patient with me as I was unsure of the final colour and brought me a sample to try. I never felt rushed. If you want the best and quite reasonably priced choose Fran Woodhurst painting.
Fran came out and provided me a quote shortly after asking. She helped me pick out my colours and she was right. She is very professional and attentive. This past week Sean and Chuck came to my home and three rooms were painted upstairs. There were many years of imperfections on the walls in all three rooms. On a recommendation of our neighbour we called up Fran to do a small job of painting our 16’ garage door and two entry doors. They all had faded a lot and looked sad. Fran came over quickly and gave us a fair appraisal and said she’ll work us into her schedule. Amazingly less than a week later she had a gap to fit us in. Chuck and Sean arrived at a reasonable time for us to be ready for them to do their thing - they are both polite and friendly guys with big smiles all the time they were here. Our doors all look brand new and I was so motivated I replace a lock set I’d been putting off for 2 years after the paint had set. Fran is involved in her profession and came around several times to make sure things were done as expected and we were happy with the work. Perfectionism meets painters! Fran and her team of Chuck and Sean were simply wonderful. I was confused and hesitant about selecting colours. Fran was so supportive and in the end I listened to her expertise and love the finished job. She and her team absolutely care about their work. They did some amazing repairs. They were on time and so kind and courteous. They cleaned up everyday and even rehung blinds and curtains, which I was not expecting. We recently had Fran and her crew in to paint our house. Each part of the process, from assessing the scope of the work to the preparation and painting was a professional interaction, and Fran clearly knows her stuff.
The job included a considerable amount drywall repair. We were very pleased with the quality of the work and the attention to detail. Fran made some suggestions for colours which helped us bring everything together.
Much of the work occurred when we weren’t at home - it was immediately clear that the painters were exceptionally professional and respectful of our space. They were wonderful to our pets and left the house neat and organized when they were finished.
The entire house was completed in three jobs which was great for us as it allowed us to continue living in the space. Fran was very sensitive to minimizing disruption including working around some unexpected guests.

We moved to Orillia late last summer of 2021, and were in need of having our entire inside living space (walls, doors, trim) painted. The house had been painted prior to our purchase, but it was very poorly done.
We did some on-line searching of various painting companies, and “Fran Woodhurst Painting” jumped to the front of the line, primarily because of the positive reviews posted. If you are anything like us, that’s a “big deal” when we are considering work / service within our home.
Fran’s team of Teesha and Chuck began the painting in February, and within a week and a half, the job was complete, and we must say, it looks wonderful. We decided to take on some bold colour choices, and our selections did not disappoint, it has made a huge difference.....we are quite happy with the new look!
Teesha and Chuck are wonderful. Always friendly and cheerful.....we enjoyed seeing them every morning! They accommodated our occasional interruptions with a smile, when we needed to sneak past to take our dogs out the patio door to the back yard.....hey, when they needed to go, they needed to go, ...and of course they wanted to say “hi” to Teesha or Chuck along the way! We very much recommend hanging on to the two of them... . Seriously Fran, please do once again, thank them both for us for keeping the experience a positive one!
We are looking forward to having Teesha back in the Spring to finish up with our exterior doors, once the weather has warmed up.

Cant say enough about how amazing Fran and the team are!..This is the 2nd time ive had them paint my home..The 1st project was painting the outside of my home..Fran's expertise when it comes to picking the right color is bar none..My house looks like a new home!.. I needed 2 bedrooms a hallway and a bathroom painted-also the popcorn ceilings.. You couldnt ask for a more professional job-everything was moved and covered,all floors were covered and plastic to drape over the staircase carpeting and rails.. Again the color she picked for me comes from years of experience at knowing what works and what will look good..only using the best products. Besides a quality job-safety is also a huge factor-especially now with what is going on..everyone used masks and gloves and kept a safe distance from me. You wont find a more honest,upfront,experienced quality painter -from the prep work and set up to the actual work and clean up-i didnt even have to clean as they did the work themselves.. I just bought a new home and although it was only a couple of years old, the Builder Beige paint colour was making it look dark inside. Fran helped me choose the new colour and came up with an excellent match for the feature wall in the Master. The work was done quickly and precisely. We recently had the upper portion of our house painted by Fran Woodhurst and her team. This was a very difficult job due to high ceilings and steep angles.
The inaccessible walls also had a build-up of soot and spider dirt. Not to mention several holes from artwork.
We are thrilled with the finished job. The walls look like new. They also did an excellent job cleaning up.
Fran and her team were consistently friendly, conscientious and punctual.
They even tolerated and made a fuss over our little noisy and hyper dog.
Chuck did an amazing job on the outside of our house. It was small job but such a difference it made. We are looking forward to working with Fran and her team again in the new year!
I absolutely love the look of my newly painted Family Room. Fran, Chuck and Tisha did an amazing job, having to contend with my 15 foot vaulted ceiling at the front as well as another one going down a set of carpeted stairs. They are perfectionists and Chuck is a guru of repairing cracks, drywall seams and for us an especially bad spot where 3 walls come together in a T. If it were not for the paint colour changes, I wouldn't have even know they had been there. They did such a fabulous job cleaning up any signs of their presence. I would highly recommend them as your Painters of choice and will be letting anyone and everyone I know how great they are. Reasonable, professional and just plain nice people.

We called for a quote & Fran came that day. She was very helpful in making suggestions for us to decide on a colour for the exterior of our house. We were undecided about the possibility of putting up new siding, but are so happy we didn't, because Fran's job makes it look like it is new for a fraction of the cost of siding. Fran did an amazing job painting my entire house. She chose the colours and they look great. Fran is a friend but she is also an incredible painter with a wonderful reputation. I try to send her all the business I can be she earns it with her workmanship.
Our house is situated on a large, terraced lot with many, MANY square feet of gardens. Since the gardens were largely neglected last year, they were in dire need of weeding, pruning, edging, re-planting & mulch. We neither had the expertise nor the energy to tackle such an enormous task. In the past, Fran has painted my entire house as part of a full renovation & has also painted my office. Being that familiar with the quality of her work, my choice for the gardening was automatic. Despite the scope of the job, I did not even call another contractor. As usual, there were no surprises. Fran & her crew toiled diligently for days, rarely taking a break. Her co-workers are friendly, professional & knowledgeable. They all simply arrive on the job when expected, do the work, then leave the property tidied at the end of the day. The transformation is amazing! We are no longer stressed each time we look outside. The gardens are now organized, neat & very healthy. Because Fran does the job RIGHT, taking no shortcuts, there will be very little, if any, maintenance needed over the summer. We have a century old farm house that we have been renovating and the beautiful wrap around porch and windows were in need of painting. We hired Fran and her team to do the job and they did an amazing job! They were so easy to work with.
