We were there twice in the last month. Great atmosphere, good food and prices. Unfortunately, we had the same server both times. She said she only works there occasionally, blonde lady. She was on her phone most of the time, didn't ask if we wanted another drink, and both times our food was cold. Other times we visited were much more pleasant and we probably won't be back, simply because of this server. The food was cold, because she paid no attention to time. Shame.
I took two of my closest friends out for a Birthday dinner Saturday October 21/23. Everything was excellent and very tasty. Also the service was great too! You were recommended by some friends of mine and we wee not disappointed. Thank you very much. I will be returning.
Thank you for accommodating a large party of 30 people on such short notice. The food was delicious, lots of great menu options, and wonderful, friendly service. We are thankful for the patient staff and will definitely be back!
Slow more than 45 minutes from order until food delivered, no checking by waitress, my meal supposed to be blackened pickerel, pan fried, skin should have been crispy if properly blackened, salad limp, I wouldn't have served it at home. Will not be back next time I come to Orillia
This WAS a favourite Orillia restaurant - alas, this has changed. The food and service has steadily declined over the last 12 months. It's very common to wait 30-40 minutes for your meal to arrive after ordering. The food doesn't taste nearly as good now and often isn't served hot. Our family had dinner there last night but only one person enjoyed their meal. This is very unfortunate because all of these meals used to taste delicious! Our server was very pleasant and attentive, which we appreciated. We've decided that we won't come here for dinner any more. We hope the owner can fix whatever is going wrong.
I order now and again as I work at the pharmacy a few doors down. Lately little things have been wrong..today I ordered fries with ketchup but there was no ketchup. I can't just leave my work to come back so it kinda socks. The BBQ chicken wrap is really good though. More attention to detail on the orders would be appreciated. If I had seen it was missing I wouldn't tip.
Second time back, many options in Orillia, but this is our new go to. Quality of food is excellent. Enjoyed the club sandwich on rosemary focaccia. Give this place a try will not be disappointed. Server Julie once again was a delight.
First visit and it was delish, we had Pulled Pork Potato Skins, Mac & Cheese, Roast Beef Dip and a variety of desserts. Prices, quality and quantity great. A hidden gem in a plaza. Julie our sever was cheerful and very knowledgeable.
Visited for the first time yesterday and had an amazing meal. We got the Easter special which included a very large turkey leg, moist and delicious, an appetizer and incredible desserts for a great price. Will definitely return when we are in the area.
Terrible service, waited almost an hour for our food! People who came in after us were getting served before us! My husband ordered the steak sandwich. It was aweful! He spit half of it out as it was very fatty and grisly! My Jambalaya was blah, tasteless. Chicken and sausage were like my hubby's steak, fatty and grisly! Will never go back there again!!!!!
We love to eat at Lake Country Grill. Usually it is brunch, which keeps us coming back. Today, we went for dinner. My husband had the roast beef special and loved it. I had the pesto pasta which, truly, is the best I have ever had. Kudos to the Chef.
Many thanks to Jeff and the staff at Lake Country Grill for providing last minute catering to a wedding reception of 50 people this past Saturday. All our guests commented on how great the food was and the amount of food was very generous. I highly recommend them as a great option for catering. Thanks again for your part in making it such an amazing night!
If I could give 100 starts I would! The staff at lake country pulled a rabbit out of a hat on a last minute catering job and everything about it was fantastic! All meals we have had from lake country over the years have been fantastic!
We stopped here for lunch on our way home from Barrie. Glad that Lake Country Grill was open because we have dined here before and have always enjoyed our meals. Today we each had a Pesto Chicken Melt and shared a Caesar Salad. Everything tasted wonderful, service was friendly and efficient, and we totally enjoyed our meal. Definitely will be back.
I took my two daughters for dinner and we were not disappointed. We tried several menu items and 'shared'. The service was very friendly, and the food was excellent - fresh, not frozen, and good size portions...We'll be back!
I hosted my sons Baptism In October. I had 30 people who attended. The customer service was exceptional. Every detail I asked for they accommodated over and beyond. The service and food was amazing. I will definitely host all my occasions there.

Took my brother out for dinner and wine a few weeks back. Service was great and food was top notch. This was the first time I had visited your establishment. Just going to check out your take out menu after I finish this review and order something in tonight.
I had to say how impressed with the speedy service we had lad last night at this restaurant. Thoroughly impressed with wait staff, with our food, our drinks were delivered pronto. We were with the large group last night so it was amazing the waitresses were absolutely polite, fast, and conscientious. Thank you.
Bar none; excellent customer service! From owner to kitchen to serving staff. Everyone compliments the food they offer. Fresh ingredients, tasty food and amazing detail to decor/atmosphere. We'll be back again and again...very refreshing in this day and age of Cara food. Conglomerates. Cheers!

Lake Country Grill has become our FAVOURITE restaurant! Food is great...and consistent EVERY TIME. This isn't your typical 'frozen-to-oven' food...these are homemade dishes with fresh ingredients you can actually taste! Service is excellent...and all of the staff are super-friendly! We love coming here...and we always leave satisfied and happy! If you haven't tried Lake Country Grill yet...what the heck are you waiting for?!?! ;)

I just had diner with my family at this restaurant for the fist time. I was pleasantly surprised to find such high quality eatery in Orilia. The food was extremely fresh and well presented, the service was top rate and flavor out of this world. I would highly recommend this restaurant to the toughest food critic and Lake Country Grill would pass with flying colours. Thank you for a great diner.
Best food in town! Service is amazing. Prices reasonable. Atmosphere great! I would recommend Lake Country Grill to anyone living in the surrounding area, or visiting from the city. You won't regret it!
I couldn't be happier with Lake Country Grill. The home made food is amazing, paired with the great selection of draft beer, live entertainment and exceptionally accommodating staff, I would recommend Lake Country Grill to anyone and everyone. The cottage decor is relaxing, visually pleasing and the artwork is from local artisans. Truly a must try!
Every single time I go to Lake Country Grill the food is absolutely spectacular! The portions are great and I can tell that the food is homemade. The Ribs are fall of the bone finger licking good. I have tried many of their entrees and they were all fantastic. I love the fact that they have live entertainment and Karaoke. I definitely recommend this restaurant especially if you want to entertain a party!!
