NOVEMBER 2017 - OBWA NETWORKING & DINNER MEETING
 The Orillia Business Women’s Association (OBWA) meets every second Wednesday of the Month (September thru June) at the Best Western Mariposa INN and Conference Centre at 400 Memorial Ave. Orillia for Networking, Fun, Food and to hear a wonderful Guest Speaker.
OBWA PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE
Here we grow again! Lots of great things are happening in the OBWA and we have many exciting things planned as we forge ahead. We are going to try a Partnership Program with the businesses in the community. This will generate contributions for the OBWA and encourage support between businesses in our group and businesses in the community. More information to follow as we finalize details. For those of you who are new to the group, I wanted to share some information. The December dinner meeting is our Christmas party and as we get closer to the event we will tell you more. I can tell you that it is FUN! Our January dinner meeting is going to be replaced with a business showcase where you will be able to have your own table to display your products/services. The objective is to give members a better sense of who you are and what you have to offer AND to help generate business for everyone. You will begin to notice some changes with the social media side of the group. We are hoping this will get us even more exposure as a group and for our individual businesses. Remember you are more than welcome to share your business, products, events, etc. on the OBWA Facebook group. We encourage all of you, whenever you can, to bring guests to the dinner meetings and make this part of your commitment to the group. So, with all that being said, exciting things are happening! Remember to make your reservations on or before November 3 and I will see you November 8.

Networking: 5:30 p.m. – 6:15 p.m. and after guest speaker – 8:30 p.m.
There will be networking followed by 30 second introductions of businesses.
Featured Business Woman of the Month – Jo Mazgay, West Coast Soul: 6:15 p.m. – 6:20 p.m.
Dinner: 6:30 p.m.
Speaker: 7:30 p.m. – 7:50 p.m.
3 COURSE DINNER: $30 for members and first first-timers, $37 for non-members
You must RSVP before 3 p.m. on Friday, November 3rd, 2017. Please email us at reserve@orilliabusinesswomen.com
If you have any allergies or dietary preferences please let us know in your email at the time you RSVP.
IMPORTANT: Please notify us by 3 p.m., Monday, November 6th, 2017, if you need to cancel.
NO CANCELLATIONS will be accepted after the date and time noted and you will be responsible for the cost of your missed dinner. We thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
