FEBRUARY 2018 - OBWA NETWORKING AND DINNER MEETING
 The Orillia Business Women’s Association (OBWA) meets every second Wednesday of the Month (September thru June) at the Best Western Mariposa INN and Conference Centre at 400 Memorial Ave. Orillia for Networking, Fun, Food and to hear a wonderful Guest Speaker.
OBWA PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE
Love is in the air! We are very excited to be spending our Valentine’s Day evening with awesome women on this special day. Of course we will have fun chatting and networking, we will be enjoying a delicious dinner and our guest speaker, Risha Yorke, has something special planned for us.
As we head into the second month of 2018, there is lots of action on social media as many businesses prepare to go full steam ahead after a bit of a break. We encourage you to use the OBWA facebook group to share about you and your business, events or special occasions. Sharing posts is definitely encouraged as this is a big part of our networking. We want to remind you that we have already started to make plans for our biggest event of the year, the Woman of the Year and the Young Woman of the Year Gala and we are looking for volunteers to help. This is a very empowering event for the nominees and for ALL the women involved. With the media coverage that is prevalent lately about important women’s issues, this event will be even more exciting.
