MARCH 2018 - OBWA NETWORKING AND DINNER MEETING
The Orillia Business Women’s Association (OBWA) meets every second Wednesday of the Month (September thru June) at the Best Western Mariposa INN and Conference Centre at 400 Memorial Ave. Orillia for networking events, fun and delicious food.
OBWA PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE
We are now only two months away from the Woman/Young Woman of the Year Gala. With all the women’s issues in the media these past few months, what better way to show solidarity and strength then through an event like this one. We want to stand strong with all women. So, to make this event as memorable as we can we are looking to you, the members, to give and to help. We need nominees, we need sponsors, we need services and we need door prizes. This is great advertising and publicity for you as well. Your name will be in the Gala program and you will be mentioned during the event. The preparations for the event are coming along very nicely and we are getting so excited. In closing this quote is very appropriate,”Solidarity between women can be a powerful force of change, and can influence future development in ways favourable not only to women but also to men.” Nawal El Saadawi.
