This was a modular home in need of a complete fresh new look. The difference here is that we painted the windows, eavestrough, downspouts in black, the effect is dramatic. We then painted the aluminum siding in a complimentary colour.
A beautiful waterfront property. We used Benjamin Moore Arborcoat solid stain in 'Iron Mountain' The result of this timber siding was bold and spectacular. The homeowner was amazed at the transformation, stating that his house looks like new!
Sometimes it is necessary for us to start work in the early hours, in order to avoid the strong sunshine whilst applying deck stain. This was a large job, we started at 4am.

Sometimes Restoration is better then Renovation.
At Fran Woodhurst Painting, we come across special problems that need to be resolved. This was a very tired, old and neglected office. In order to make this window look good, we stripped all the layers of paint off, down to the bare wood surface, that included a bit of rot. Next we filled with drywall filler, sanded, filled again, sanded, spot filled, sanded again, and we have a durable surface ready to be primed and painted. Here is a good example of a before and after deck project. The customer was located on Lake Couchiching in Orillia, they thought they would need to replace the wood at great expense, however we restored this deck to like new condition.
Our process incudes power washing, surface sanding with an industrial sanding unit, followed by application of a high-quality clear deep penetrating wood sealer by Benjamin Moore, that is water repellant and perfect for keeping your deck looking new!
