artsVest Ontario is run by Business for the Arts with the support of the Government of Ontario, the Ontario Trillium Foundation and Canadian Heritage.   artsVest’s mission is to stimulate new business investment in the arts through matching incentives and to build partnerships between public, private and arts sectors.

Since 2005 artsVest Ontario has invested over $1.1M in Ontario arts organizations, sparking over $2.2M in private sector sponsorship. Thanks to the encouragement and training provided by artsVest, MAT has been able to secure a number of new sponsors, and to have their funds matched by artsVest!

MAT has always relied on the generosity of private donors who recognize the important role MAT plays in the arts in our community.  Our donors have made possible the construction and maintenance of our 5000 square foot rehearsal hall/workshop, a facility which contributes to enhancing the quality of theatre in Orillia.

We offer incentives to donors, depending on the level of contribution, including admission vouchers for live theatre productions and Film Nights.
