The answer is a resounding, “Yes!” And, during this interactive session, that’s exactly what you'll learn. Deborah will lead you through an exercise to determine your own behavioural style, show you clues that will help you recognize the styles that others prefer, and explore ways to adapt in order to connect more successfully.

Deborah Foster-Stahle Bio: Deborah has been Executive Director and franchise owner of Business Network International - BNI Ontario Central North going on eight years, since September 2007. She currently supports 20 BNI chapters of entrepreneurs and sales professionals to build business by referral, in a region that including communities located in counties and districts of Grey/Bruce, Simcoe, Muskoka, Parry Sound, Sudbury and North Bay. Deborah is passionate about sharing knowledge and ideas with others on topics such as effective networking and collaboration, creativity, leadership, and community economic development, having presented to audiences from around the globe. Her views on leadership, networking and building business by referral have been featured in national and local newspapers, including the Globe & Mail and Huronia Business Times, and she’s appeared on radio and TV talk shows such as Your Business, Georgian Bay Life and Daytime. Deborah’s background includes a degree focused in Industrial & Organizational Psychology and over a quarter century of consulting, management and marketing experience in the corporate and not-for-profit sectors. Deborah was honoured to have received Barrie’s top business award: the Arch Brown Entrepreneur Award of Excellence, from the Greater Barrie Chamber of Commerce and the City of Barrie at the Barrie Business Awards in 2011. She, her husband Kurt, and their sweet love-on-four-legs Great Dane, Mocha, live in snow country near Horseshoe Valley, ON.

Networking: 5:30 – 6:30pm    Dinner: 6:30 pm Speaker: 7:30 - 8:30 approx.

3 COURSE DINNER: $28 for members and first time guests

  $35 for Guest (non-members)

The annual election for our OBWA Executive Officers is held each June. We hope to see as many members out as possible for this very important meeting. We have a few nominations already and will also be calling for nominations from the floor

There are certain rules that we have to follow, so please see your handbook for the OBWA election by-laws.

Will will not be having any Networking Meeting in JULY and AUGUST will resume our Monthly meetings wed. September 9th, 2015.
