APRIL 2019 - OBWA NETWORKING AND DINNER MEETING
The Orillia Business Women’s Association (OBWA) meets every second Wednesday of the Month (September thru June) at the Best Western Mariposa INN and Conference Centre at 400 Memorial Ave. Orillia for networking events, fun and delicious food.
OBWA PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE
Spring has arrived! The birds are coming back, the snow is disappearing and soon the flowers will be appearing. Nature is awash with changes. Maybe you are experiencing changes in your life, too! Some may be good and some not so much. But whatever is happening in your life it is how you react that can set your life in a new and better direction. Find that which brings you joy. Change things up. Do something different. Life is too short to be surrounded by negativity.
We are getting so excited with the upcoming Woman/Young Woman of the Year Gala which is in less that a month. Get your tickets online soon as we always sell out. We have amped it up again this year and we are having a dance after the dinner and awards! We have DJ2TheMax as our DJ. You will remember him from our Christmas Party. He does an amazing job. If you want to do your part and support the OBWA and the gala you have the opportunity by contributing a door prize or by being a sponsor. All the details are on the website. You can also show support by attending the gala. You will not be disappointed. It is a very special night for all involved.
We are having our Executive Panel again this April. You will hear from all the executive members. We will be letting you know what it is we do to run the OBWA and the dinner meetings. Come armed with any questions you may have. We want you to know what goes on behind the scenes.
Don't forget to read the entire bulletin for all the details of our April dinner meeting. Be prepared.
