Did you recently bring home a new family member?! Congratulations! We know that when you do, it is such an exciting time! Along with all the excitement may also come questions regarding the next steps for their health. Part of the responsibility of pet ownership is understanding the importance of veterinary care for your special furry friend.
We understand you may have so many questions about food, vaccinations, spay/neuter procedures, oral health... the list goes on!
At Orillia Pet Hospital, we're passionate about making and keeping pets well, but our passion isn't just limited to the walls of our hospital! It extends to pets in the community as well.
Our mission is to help pets get the medical care they need, assist in pet rescue efforts, and help pets find loving homes!
We currently work with the Orillia SPCA and Precious Paws Rescue, if you'd like to learn more give us a call.

Happy Holidays from the veterinary professionals at Orillia Pet Hospital! We hope everyone in your family including the furry members have a safe, happy and healthy holiday season!
No matter how well a present is wrapped, pets can get into them! Wrapping paper, tape and ribbon are no match for a dog hot on the scent of a box of chocolates or some other tasty food treat! Keep your pets safe and healthy this holiday season!
When walking your dog, be sure to avoid frozen lakes and ponds. Your dog could be seriously hurt or even killed if the ice breaks. If your dog falls through the ice they are also at risk for hypothermia. Contact the vets at Orillia Pet Hospital is you have an accident on the ice!
The holidays are approaching! We know, we know...you don't want to be reminded how fast time is flying!
But we want to help with keeping the holiday stress away by reminding you to please make sure you call our clinic for prescription food orders well in advance! So if you know you will be running low soon, make sure to give us a call!
You can also check out our online pet store that gives you the ability to set up auto ordering and have your pet food delivered straight to your door!
For after hours emergencies contact Huronia Emergency Vet Clinic 705-722-0377

"It's a baby cat!" One of our RVT's Emma, got the chance to snuggle with this little cutie on Friday! It's not very often that we get to see puppies or kittens of this size, but it's a treat when we do! This little kitten is just 4 weeks old. Her mum is still deciding on a name, but I'm sure it will be reeeal cute! And yes, we do know they're really called kittens, but it's a common occurrence to hear our RVT's and our staff get excited for the "baby cats" and "baby dogs"! . . . #dog#cat#puppy#kitten#babydog... more
