Telecare Distress Line of Greater Simcoe provides telephone support 24 Hours a day 7 Days a week to individuals experiencing:

Social isolation Alcohol & Drug issues
Grief and loss
Financial concerns
Relationship issues

Our volunteers receive over 1200 calls per year from Simcoe County and beyond.
We provide a 24 hour anonymous and confidential telephone listening service staffed by well-trained volunteers.

Volunteers receive extensive professional training and are able to respond to the immediate and changing needs of the callers as well as referring and connecting them to other appropriate community resources if necessary.

Telecare Distress Line helps to alleviate stress, averting crisis, and reducing unnecessary emergency calls and Emergency Room visits.
