Our OBWA 2023 Woman of the Year and Young Woman of the Year Gala Dinner & Awards Night was a huge success. The Best Western PLUS Mariposa Inn & Conference Centre went beyond our expectations with the venue and menu. We were able to show our thanks and our support, along with many community members, to 6 amazing women from our communities. Kim Kneeshaw is our 2023 Nelle Carter Woman of the Year. Our 5 Women of Distinction along with Kim are making our communities better. Congratulations to all!... more

The nominations are open for the OBWA 2023 Nelle Carter "Woman of the Year". Nominees for the “Nelle Carter Woman of the Year" (Women of Distinction) may be from any of the following areas: City of Orillia, Township of Ramara, Township Of Oro-Medonte, Township of Severn and The Chippewas of Rama First Nation.
