Telecare Distress Line of Greater Simcoe provides telephone support 24 Hours a day 7 Days a week to individuals experiencing:

Emotional distress
Social isolation Alcohol & Drug issues
Grief and loss
Financial concerns
Relationship issues
And more...

Our volunteers receive up to 1,000 calls per month from all over Simcoe County and Muskoka.

We provide a 24 hour anonymous and confidential telephone listening service staffed by well-trained volunteers.

Volunteers receive extensive professional training and are able to respond to the immediate and changing needs of the callers as well as referring and connecting them to other appropriate community resources if necessary.

Telecare is an integral part of the social service infrastructure of this community by providing an emotional safety net.
