Bedbugs do not have nests. They can hide in mattresses, furniture, behind baseboards, switch plate covers or pictures. You may see dark spots and staining (feces) on your sheets. Bedbugs are mostly active at night. You can carry them home on your clothing, in backpacks and suitcases, or on used furniture or mattresses. Bed bugs do not fly but can move rapidly.
