Helping those who wish to achieve wellness and balance in their lives! The vision of the Backyard Herbalist is to create awareness of the local and indigenous plants that surrounds us in our community. These plants nourish our bodies and help us achieve natural wellness and balance. As an Herbalist I will share the traditional and historic simplicity of using these plants that grow in our own BACKYARD. 
 

Private Herbal Consultations

During this 1 hour initial consultation we will complete a Lifestyle Analysis questionnaire to determine where you stand in your lifestyle and nutritional habits. Together, we will assist nature to restore your body to a normal tissue condition by creating the Herbal Preparations that your body needs to achieve wellness and balance.
 

Reiki & Aromatherapy

Reiki
Reiki is pure, simple, yet powerful essential life force energy. This gentle healing technique dates back to ancient Tibet. As a practitioner I use Reiki and other energy medicine for stress reduction and relaxation to promote healing, balance and well-being. Come and experience the feeling of peace and calm.
 
Aromatherapy
Essential oils are thought to have been used for ceremony and pleasure dating back to 7000-4000 BC. These fragrances are used for healing. Workshops 
My workshops are a 100% hands on experience! See, smell, touch and taste the herbs, foods and tonic teas that energize and revive. Create balms, oils and herbal confections to take home. My Workshops are held monthly and I offer convenient times and locations to suit busy schedules. Come and create products to soothe and comfort your body and soul.
 
Classes
In my classes I share the Traditional and Historic use of herbs and foods that support health and well-being. I offer a Herbal Mini Series that covers the Body Systems and runs for 12 weeks. Take one class or the complete series.

I also offer private classes to focus in on your own needs.
