From a young age, creativity was my mainstay. In my 20’s, for various reasons, I left my creative side to pursue a career void of the arts.

Later, I had a Nikon camera and having that camera beside me wherever I went, changed my life. I was finally tapping into my creativity again. It felt wonderful. To be a photographer you must have the eye for composition, I realized I had that. My life became a collection of images wherever I went and the compulsion to snap another photo. That is where the name of my business evolved as I started noticing the beauty in nature particularly in trees.

What is it they say, “when one door closes another door opens?” A change in my life occurred. I suddenly found myself unemployed but recognized it as a new beginning.

That’s when I knew what I wanted to do.

I studied photography at Georgian College to obtain formal education in photography. I also took business courses to prepare myself as an entrepreneur.
