Open Hours For Patients increase accessibility to all practitioners and are recommended for all patients. Get all of your needs met in one visit.

No appointments are necessary to see a doctor during Open Hours for Patients.

Please note that liquid nitrogen is now available to our patients during all Open Hours For Patients sessions.

 Women’s Health Clinic

We are happy to have Dr. Rebecca Van Iersel join our team to provide Women’s health services.

While Dr. Dharssi and our Nurse Practitioner are in the office during open hour sessions, the Women’s Health Clinic is an option for women who would like to see a female physician with a special interest in women’s health.

Examples of care provided by Dr. Van Iersel include family planning/birth control including IUD insertion, menstrual abnormalities, Paps (21-49 year age group), hormonal concerns and menopause and sexual health concerns.

Our preventative health visits will still be held through group visits with Dr. Dharssi with our nurse practitioner assisting with physical examinations.

Home Visits

Dr Dharssi makes house calls on Saturdays to his frail elderly and housebound patients.

Are you or a loved one a frail elderly person that lives at home, in a retirement residence or assisted living facility? Are you housebound and find that coming to the Doctor’s office is really difficult but you would like to have an appointment with Dr. Dharssi?

Did you know that you can receive a visit from Dr. Dharssi on a Saturday when he is available. The doctor has up to 6 appointments on the Saturdays that he offers this house calls service.

To find out more, call the office (705 326 8335) and speak to reception who will discuss the guidelines for this service and give you the date and an approximate time the doctor will make the house call. Your family members are welcome to be with you if you wish.
