I'm Olivia, the owner and curator of Harold + Ferne: The Local Goods Co.!

I am inspired by people that explore their creativity. And as an avid dabbler and curious novice, I'm always looking for inspiration! I've been creating little things here and there and finally wanted an outlet to share these creations with members of my community. However, I found the options for local makers limited and realized there must be other talented and passionate makers facing the same limitations. 

Harold + Ferne was born out of a desire to bring together an ever growing community of makers and artisans. In and around Orillia we are lucky to have a wonderfully rich creative community but it needs to be nurtured and supported. So venture into our cozy shop and experience the raw creativity of your friends and neighbours! Harold + Ferne is a store that makes gift giving easy - even if the gift is for you!

While Harold + Ferne is a shop, my hope is that it becomes the gathering space for a community of makers and their supporters. A space that warmly welcomes new and experienced makers, young and old and gives everyone the confidence to explore their creativity!
