The Owner and head chef of the Royal Oak Restaurant has over 40 years’ experience in Chinese cuisine. She learned cooking at a young age from her mother who also operated her own Restaurant in China. In 1990, she started her Restaurant career by opening her first restaurant “Rickshaw” in Gravenhurst. She ran it for 14 successful years before selling it in 2004; along with her whole family moved to Orillia and bought the Royal Oak Restaurant.
Royal Oak Restaurant proudly offers a wide variety of delicious food. Specializing in Cantonese, Szechwan, Dim Sum along with traditional Canadian cuisine. No matter what your stomach is craving for, they have it in store for you. Everything is made fresh daily by an excellent team of chefs and along with friendly team of servers to provide you with top notch service. Waitress Kathy has been her with May since the restaurant opened, and says, “Everyone that works here are like family, you can’t make me to leave”
