Thank you so much to everyone who came out to support us at the 2nd annual Strawberry Tea & Silent Auction. It was a great success and everyone really enjoyed their day! A special thanks goes out to Ego's Farm for donating the delicious strawberries for the event!

BLACK CAT ADOPT-A-THON
As you may have seen in the newest SNAP! Magazine we are holding a Black Cat Adopt-A-Thon this Saturday, June 7. All of our black cats will be up for adoption for a reduced $25.00 adoption fee. We do ask that you call ahead and set up approximate times to meet so you may have our managers undivided attention :) Please call (705) 326-1545 to set up a time now!!

Seniors for Seniors: This summer one of our goals is to find companions for some of our older shelter residence with seniors in the community. We hope to be able to either adopt out or foster some of these lovable cats and provide companionship for older people. In February, J&K Pets as well as a group of Lakehead University students organized by Leissa Shaver and Amanda Bisschop, held a "CASH MOB" in support of The Comfie Cat Shelter and OSPCA Orillia! J&K Pets had several sales for customers as well as a donation box to donate to the two shelters. We would like to thank all involved, and our wonderful community, VERY much for your support!

Join us for some fun in the sun (and snow) at the Orillia Winter Carnival! Enjoy some delicious pancakes being served, in part, by some of our volunteers at 9:00am until 3:00pm! Don't forget to drop by The Comfie Cat Shelter's tent and grab some raffle tickets or one of the other items we are selling to support our cats! Come support The Comfie Cat Shelter this weekend at Winter Fest 2013! We will be collecting donations, selling books, buttons, baskets and stuffed toys all day! A very big THANK YOU goes out to our wonderful volunteers who will be helping with the festival and to Pet Value who supplied many of our basket items!
