Consider this: I am here every step of the way to provide emotional and physical support to not only yourself but your partner as well! While your medical team focuses their attention on the safety of yourself and the baby, a doula is focused on providing comfort measures to make your experience as comfortable as possible. There is a lot going on in the room leading up to giving birth, there are machines, paperwork, and tests that are being done on a hourly basis.... more
