When curling those weights for those beautiful biceps of yours, try to envision your biceps curling the weight, instead of just going through the motions.

And when it comes to training triceps, especially when doing tricep pushdown, remember to keep your arms and elbows pinned to your sides.

~Thigh Splitting Wednesday~

Leg extension is a great workout for your quads. When we get tired though, we tend to lift our butt off the chair and we aren't as strict in bending at the knees 100%.

Not matter how tired or how hard you push its always important to keep proper form not matter what.

~Chisel your chest Mondays~

Have you gone negative?...Give it a try!

Next bench press, try bringing the bench down slow at a count of 4 seconds. When pressing back up, press at a good pace but keep control of the bar.

Remember: Never try something new at a heavier weight!

~Iron Daily Tip~

How much control do you have when it comes to weight training?

When you are doing a front press, for an example, you want to control the weight as you press it all the way up. You also want to do this when you bring the weight back down, always focusing on where you should be feeling it and what muscles you are working on.

~Daily Iron Tip~ Next time it's chest day, mix up your grip! This will hit different parts of the chest for better mobility, strength and shape.

Try this; When doing a flat dumbbell press (dumbbell bench press) keep your palms facing inwards as appose to out wards like you would doing a regular bench press.

Another good reason to go full range while working out is that it helps break down old scar tissue from injuries. Make sure to keep the weights lighter then normal when doing this. And most importantly, leave your ego at the door.

~Daily Iron Tip~

**Tricep Tuesday** Dumbell Kickbacks is a great shaping exercise, and really focuses on the outer area of the tricep. Try this: When you are fully extending the dumbbell ( the 'kick back" ) really flex you tricep to put 100% focus on the area. Always control the dumbbell and be careful not to swing it while keeping your elbow against your waist at all times.

Shrug it out! Next time you do shrugs, make sure to just move your traps and shoulders up and down...Never rotate the shoulders. Try this~ Hold for a count of 2-3 seconds while shrugging up and really focus on 'squeezing' those traps. Keep Training Smart! ~Mariposa Iron Company~
